Saints select eight players to serve as team captains for the 2025 NFL season

The New Orleans Saints have named their team captains ahead of the 2025 season.
Returning as captains from the previous season are linebackerDemario Davis, defensive endCameron Jordan, running backAlvin Kamara, center/guardErik McCoyand long snapperZach Wood.
Serving as Saints captains for the first time are wide receiverBrandin Cooks, kickerBlake Grupeand safetyJustin Reid.
Davis enters his eighth-straight campaign serving as a team captain after joining the Saints in 2018. Jordan was selected as captain for the 10th-straight time in his decorated Saints career, first selected ahead of the 2015 season. Kamara enters his third season as a team captain after he was named a captain for the 2022 and 2024 seasons. McCoy and Wood head into their third-straight seasons as team captains after their first selection ahead of the 2023 season.
The Saints kick off the 2025 season against theArizona Cardinals in the Caesars Superdome on Sept. 7.
